AMONG THE RANKS OF THE UNCONQUERABLE OUT NOW!

For those of you who might not have heard...

Yesterday marked the digital release of the DEATH FORTRESS album Among the Ranks of the Unconquerable. It has been available on LP via Fallen Empire Records since 11/17. It will soon be available in the EU via Iron Bonehead Productions.

In other news: more details on the upcoming DETHRONED EMPEROR EP Invocation of the Profane are forthcoming. IOTP will be released on cassette format by Endless Path Productions. Listen to the title track at the bandcamp.

Some other fun projects are in the works as well. Relevant details as they come.

New Song Revealed

The bandcamp is now up and running again.

You will find there a track from our upcoming EP Invocation of the Profane, set to be released late this year on cassette format by Endless Path Productions. Five tracks of pummeling, bestial black/death metal in a slightly different vein than our prior releases. An official release date will be revealed when the time comes.

In other news, the Death Fortress LP Among the Ranks of the Unconquerable is set to be released by the end of the Month via Fallen Empire Records. There are also a few side projects in the work. As always, all pertinent information will be posted on our blog.

Bandcamp temporarily down...

Hello internet,

Some of you may have noted that the bandcamp is currently unreachable. This is intentional--it has been closed temporarily pending some changes and an exciting announcement. Stay tuned.

EMPEROR'S RETURN

After prolonged slumber in the depths of R'lyeh, Dethroned Emperor has returned to the studio to record a new EP. Set to be titled "Invocation of the Profane," this release features a somewhat different approach than the one presented on Moral Nihility. This approach is both progression and regression--a hearkening back to and yet a re-imagining of elements of our older sound. We anticipate its release will take place by the end of the year on cassette format.

In other, semi-related news, Death Fortress' debut LP "Among the Ranks of the Unconquerable" is set to be released later this summer on vinyl format by Fallen Empire Records. Preview tracks can be heard on the FE Bandcamp, and updates can be found on the FE Facebook page as they are revealed.

For those of you (read: probably none of you) who heard, Killing Technology is on hiatus for now. The project will be resurrected when the time comes. Currently I am wading more into Black Metal territory for a new musical venture. More info on that front as it arrives.

In the meantime, do yourself a fucking favor and listen to Haethen or the new Coffin Dust record, okay?

NOT DEAD

Just saw this hasn't been updated in almost 2 months. Though we have been relatively inactive as of late, we have not thrown in the towel in any capacity. Work continues on learning the songs for the next LP. We are in the planning stages of releasing a short EP containing some of the new songs and a cover. More news will become available on that as we work it out.

In other news: we are also hard at work on the new DEATH FORTRESS LP. Everything is tracked and mixing commences.

KILLING TECHNOLOGY is also working on new material, for anyone who cares (or even knows the band exists). I am thinking things will slowly proceed in a more grind direction than what they have been.

In any case, we will keep you posted on new stuff as it develops.

More side project-related news

Over the past few months I've been working on a demo for my new project KILLING TECHNOLOGY. Just a few days ago I finally released the demo streaming on bandcamp. The music is some sort of dbeat/crust (though I still don't know exactly what crust is) with a pronounced metal edge. Moreover, the lyrics/artwork/themes/etc. will be built around a science-fiction inspired world that I have created and continue to develop. You can listen to the demo, entitled PASSAGE BEYOND, below:

http://killingtechnology.bandcamp.com

I also made a dumb facebook page for the band here: https://www.facebook.com/misanthropecommand. For more info: contact misanthropecommand@gmail.com or hit up the fb page..

In any case, check it out if you're into that sort of thing.
